We Are One
Campaign for Communal Harmony
Our ultimate goals are to show the fallacy of communal confrontation and how it harms national integration and humanity, to promote better and more accurate understanding of different communities, to enhance recognition of harmony as an imperative of development, and to promote scientific, rational thinking.
Participating students analyze quotes and ideas provided to them by SPRAT. Students then choose quotes which they feel are most fitting examples of solutions to the many problems existing in our country at this time, with the goal of creating a more peaceful, unified, rational society.
Also believing in the youth’s need to be entertained, we reward winners with goods such as televisions, DVD players, and other youth-oriented materials. This is not to bribe participation, but to recognize the reality of a globalized world and the interests of our youth.
SPRAT adjudged the best Small NGO of Western India, and one of the 13 best, all India, by the Resource Alliance - Nand and Jeet Khemka Foundation for 2007.
