TOWARDS A BETTER #WORLD
Friends, cheer up! Our world is getting a better, more livable world as we should think it is.
But notice, also, that
– these improvements are direct and almost solely the result of conscious, rational human effort, and proffers no divine intervention
– the disparities remain huge. It is almost as if one country is living in tomorrow and the other in a distant past of these charts!
But thanks to the innate goodwill of the human specie*, science, technology, institution building, globalization [not the MNC kind], and specially Internet… we will overcome the remaining infirmities, and together make ourselves better Earthlings, poised to look afar.
