When you have a movie depicting the work you do, it really shows the impact you and your work has made on the higher mass. An impact this huge was made on the lives of 1400 abandoned children, who have found a mother in Sindhutai Sapkal. Married off at the age of 10, and abandoned while 9 months pregnant, life was not easy for Sindhutai. She did odd
jobs to survive her family of 5 members. She said poverty gave her the strength to do what she is doing today. Sindhutai and her family run 4 home, 2 for girls and 2 for boys in Pune and take care of their needs right from education up to their marriage. These children have gone ahead to become doctors, lawyers and engineers and nothing else would make Sindhutai happier! She has 750 awards and recognition on her name.
