What started as a fellowship soon became his passion, and Viswanath started dedicating the majority of his time in teaching photography to tribal kids. In areas where even education is not taken seriously, photography was a far cry, but Viswanath did not give up and continued to gather students to teach new techniques. From developing pinhole cameras that are cheaper to triggering the attitude of learning among students, Viswanath has taken a path less followed. Though he faces many challenges, he is determined to bring a significant change in the community and how it looks at education.
