Racism against North-East people in India

Every year approximately 10-15 north-eastern women are found dead in their rented apartments in Delhi-NCR. Cases against racial discrimination are not even investigated properly. Mizoram CM, Lal Thanhawla, has himself been a victim to racist remarks. He further says that racism gives rise to secessionism and regionalism.
Few instances where north-east people have been treated brutally are-
A student from Arunachal Pradesh was forced to lick his landowner’s shoe while he was hurling abuses at him. Nido Tania, a 19 year old hailing from Arunachal Pradesh, was murdered in South Delhi in 2014. Akha Salouni, a 29-year-old man from Manipur, lost his life due to his looks.
These are just a few cases, there are many cases against racial discrimination which go unreported.
