OWAISI’s NASTY GIFT

A section of the Muslims of India have yet not recognized the reality of the present day India, much less taking pride in its pluralism. They are either living in Babar’s India or sleeping. Or are day dreaming in their fanciful minds.

When Akbaruddin Owaisi was uttering all that poisonous non-sense, a few thousand of them were listening to him gleefully. And many dutifully spread his ‘brave word’ through YouTube.

Earlier his father, Salahuddin, was playing this same dirty and filthy politics of arousing communal passions. As many Muslims rewarded him with electoral victories, this became winnable formula. Those genuine, far-sighted Muslims – like Syed Khaleelullah – fell away, cast aside and waylaid. It has only now dawned upon some how poisonous the consequences of this politics have been.

I have watched a few videos by Hyderabad’s Raja Singh [see below under Modi’s Development] and VHP’s Togadia. In plain language my blood boils in anger, and I am overcome with deep disgust. But I also ask, who launched this campaign in recent times?

Yes, VHP has been spreading hatred for long, but it was subdued and lacked audience. Owaisi gave it legitimacy and hordes of listeners. And now the Net spawns with anti-Muslim videos. Modi is hailed as the only effective answer to teach the Miyan their place. As a Gujarati I shall blame the Owaisis for popularizing Modi to neutralize whom we have sacrificed so much.

Where is Akbar’s bravado, as he cools his heels in the jail, proffering false excuses and almost disowning his own utterances. Who were fooled? The gullible listeners. Who profited? He alone, in terms of further nuisance value. And who suffered ultimately, and hugely? MUSLIMS. Muslims damaged by Muslim ‘leadership’.
