Mrs. Nagarathamma
Mrs. Nagarathamma works as a Block Education Officer in Bengaluru and also runs an NGO for 25 street children. She wanted the street children to have a decent upbringing with all the basic necessities being provided to them. She along with other like-minded people founded “Tent Shaale” wherein they would provide the children with day to day necessities. She helped the children get admission at private schools through RTE. Her foundation takes care of the other school-related needs of children. To overcome the financial obstacles in her noble cause, she is running the foundation with the money she received after mortgaging her jewelry.
