MINORITIES WITHIN – II
27 May 2012
Most Indian Muslims tend to lay blame for their ailments on their minority status in the country. It is, therefore, interesting to note that Ismailis and Bohras, both minorities within the Muslim community, fare better than the majority Muslims.
I solicit comments explaining this apparent contradiction.
And from my friends outside India I seek to know if this is also the situation in other societies where sub-minorities tend to perform better than the minorities themselves.
