Kabita Bhattarai,Nepal-Bihar border
Kabita Bhattarai is often referred to as the modern day Mother Teresa. This 56-year-old lady has selflessly treated half a million leprosy patients without charging a single penny at her 240-bed hospital built on the Nepal-Bihar border. She gets around 50 patients each day and treats all of them with the same love and affection. In return, these patients are to serve the Little Flower Organisation in whatever way they can. Little Flower Organisation helps the leper patients and makes them independent. In a world of selfish needs, messiahs like Kabita Bhattarai are boons in disguise.
