Brian Fernandes
Accumulated garbage and no adequate disposal system made 19-year old Brian Fernandes and his friends worried about the unhygienic surroundings that they lived in. Upon complaining about the same to the H-ward of BMC, they have assured clearance of garbage within a week’s time, but a month passed by and nothing had change. It was when he wrote to the Times of India and when his complained was featured in the newspaper, immediate action was taken. He along with his friends have put in a lot of efforts to ensure that the community doesn’t contribute to heaps of garbage on the roads.
