ARMY MEN GANG RAPED MINOR ON TRAIN
In December 2015, a 14-year-old girl was gang raped by a group of two army men after being forced to consume alcohol by a third jawan in a military reserved coach of the Howrah-Amritsar Express. The victim had alleged that when she went to the toilet, the three Army men threatened her and raped her six times. The girl had told her family that she wanted to travel to Ludhiana to meet a friend. When she was not permitted, she left home without informing her family and boarded the train at Howrah. The girl was in shock and needed counselling.
