A gang rape victim, becomes acid attack survivor for the 5th time.
A 35 year old woman, mother of two, was attacked with acid, by a man who climbed her hostel wall. Due to the history of atrocities faced by her in the past, she had been provided with security, yet she became a victim for the 5th time. About 300 acid attacks were registered in 2015. This alarmingly high rate of acid attacks on women is a serious issue of concern. Although the court has banned the sale of acid in public places, but it still prevails.
