MUSLIM POLITICAL STRATEGY?
LET’S VOTE FOR THE CONGRESS NATION-WIDE AND FOR AAP IN VARANASI because:
a. Modi is our enemy number one, not only because of the [unproven] 2002 genocide but also because of the proven fake encounters, woman stalking, forcible land acquisition, electoral spending, crony capitalism, fake claims of development, fascist and dictatorial tendencies, one-upmanship etc. Defeating him is of utmost importance both for community and also for the nation.
b. In our first past the post parliament democracy ultimately a party – and not the individual candidates – make the govt. Nation-wide the Congress alone seems poised to fit the bill under the circumstances. This is a case of the least evil. Let the Congress not receive so much drubbing as not to be a coalition partner.
c. AAP appears secular but is yet to consolidate its bases. Right now it is eating straight into Congress vote, thus benefiting only Modi. BJP supporters are yet to join the AAP
d. A pronounced Muslim support for AAP will be counter-productive as BJP brigade will undertake counter-polarization of Hindu votes against AAP. For Congress there is little to lose at this stage on this count.
e. By voting for AK at Varanasi we ensure he reaches the Parliament and AAP knows that it is under Muslim reckoning. It will be supported by them once AAP starts eroding the BJP vote base.
