What did you do when you were all of 9? Probably play around, but Babar Ali, at the mere age of 9 started a school to teach poor kids under a guava tree.
The school that started with 8 students went ahead to have 800 at a later on stage. His wishes to teach children till his last breath. Though the government has not provided any funds to his school, well-wishers have contributed to his noble cause and a result he could buy land and start a proper school with 8 staff members. For his contribution to educating children, he had been invited by noble laureate Amartya Sen, to talk about his journey. He is also a fellow at Ted Talks. He has been regarded as the youngest headmaster by BBC in 2009.
