Achievement- women and child empowerment.
From being a saree weaver to a man on a mission, this is an extraordinary story of Nandanlal from Varanasi. He has left no stone unturned to ensure that there are no more child labors, child marriages and dowry seekers in his village. He also started a group wedding program in 2007 so that the less privileged ones don’t have to sell off their lands just to get their children married. So far his NGO Loksamiti has helped the women and children of Ratlajab, Varanasi tremendously.
