Violence did, does and likely will have a role. But all forms of mindless, target-less, disproportionate violence is against civility and is counter productive.
No other desire is ruining human race as much as sex. Mankind must find ways to either overcome it or satisfy it to be able to utilize its creative potential constructively.
Human kind follows conviction of reason (atheists), of faith (fanatics), of convenience.
Politics: The fine art of appearing to do, while doing nothing.
Give a man some free time, or extra money & watch. If he uses it constructively give some more. If unproductively, tax it.
Shame: The burden of the sensitive.
